Morton Brown Family Wealth is proud to announce that Kathryn M. Brown, Co-Founder and Principal, earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation. In 2022, Brown joined a small study group of Lehigh Valley professionals to pursue this new, cross-disciplinary study of philanthropic planning. Coursework topics included taxation, finance, fundraising, purposeful planning, family office dynamics, psychology, and strategic philanthropy.
“With my CAP® designation, I feel better equipped to integrate charitable planning with my clients’ estate plans to help them not only live their best lives but also leave their best legacies,” said Katie Brown.
The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® program is offered by The American College of Financial Services and requires the completion of coursework followed by three, two-hour exams. To maintain the CAP® designation, professionals must earn continuing education credits each year.
Kathryn M. Brown, CFP®, ChFC®, CAP® is the Co-Founder and Principal of Morton Brown Family Wealth headquartered in Allentown, PA. Brown provides investment and financial planning guidance to families looking to be more intentional with their wealth.
