Melanie loves the shared feeling of accomplishment in helping others achieve their goals.
Melanie combines her analytical skills and passion for people as a valuable member of our client service team. Her attention to detail is unmatched when it comes to managing client account requests, processing paperwork, and helping clients keep their financial lives on track. With experience in client software and data management, she also provides operational support to the advisory team.
Over the past 10 years, Melanie gained integral behind-the-scenes knowledge of how financial firms function efficiently while placing client interests first. Prior to joining Morton Brown Family Wealth, Melanie worked in RIA firms in client service, compliance, and administrative support. She holds a B.S. in Finance and Business Administration from Indiana State University.
Out of the office
Whether out hiking, kayaking, or in the garden, Melanie loves outdoor adventures with her family including Mike and her son Parker. She is a volunteer in her church and looks forward to more visits to Baltimore to visit her daughter, Emilee.
What drew you to a finance and investment career?
I have always loved math, budgets, anything to do with numbers. When I went off to college, finance was the obvious choice.
What do you find most rewarding about the work that you do?
Helping others achieve their goals, not only clients but co-workers as well. I love the shared feeling of a team accomplishment.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Not hiding my emotions and volleyball.
What was your favorite gift that you ever gave?
A Bethlehem Star necklace to my daughter. I hope it will always remind her of home. She wears it every day.

I try to always stay true to my beliefs.
