OUT OF THE OFFICE
Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and catching up with her three grown children. She feels inspired and fulfilled when spending time with friends and family, vacationing at the beach, taking long walks, listening to music, and finding quiet time to give thanks.
If you had to describe a defining moment in your life, what would it be?
Moving in next door to Jeff, the man that I would eventually marry.
How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Compassionate, kind, loyal, hardworking, honest, trustworthy, friendly, and energetic.
What are you surprisingly good at?
While not as athletically inclined as my sons, I am a decent skier and I enjoy beating them at 500 Rummy.
How do you apply the vision of “leading a purposeful life” to your own goals?
I have always loved the poem The Dash by Linda Ellis. Life is not about the beginning or the end, rather what we do in the middle or during “our dash”. I try to make a positive difference in the lives of others around me.
