Karen joined Morton Brown in 2021, bringing more than 20 years of finance experience. Her career began in the pharmaceutical sector, where she held sales and finance roles before transitioning into financial planning. She has since worked with both large brokers and independent RIA firms in client management, lending her organizational skills and industry knowledge to advisory teams. At Morton Brown, she plays a key role in supporting special projects and initiatives.

“For me, it’s not just about numbers—it’s about people. I want clients to feel valued and supported, especially in life’s most pivotal moments.”
KAREN GARRISON
Outside of work, Karen enjoys time with her husband and three grown children. She finds fulfillment in beach vacations, long walks, and listening to music—especially Chris Stapleton. As an empty nester, she looks forward to volunteering and giving back to the community. Inspired by the poem The Dash by Linda Ellis, she believes that life is defined not by its start or finish but by how we fill the in-between. With that in mind, she strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
