Pat loves the work that she does supporting financial advisors for the past 20 years.
She believes that the best financial advisors have a back-office team who are dedicated to helping their clients navigate complex paperwork and processes. At Morton Brown Family Wealth, Pat develops and implements procedures and workflows to enhance our client experience. She also coordinates and oversees systems and technology, billing, accounts payable, and assists the Compliance Officer.
Prior to working with financial advisors, Pat worked at CoreStates Bank as an Internal Auditor for several years, then as a Trust Officer administering over 400 IRA’s and trust accounts. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Accounting from Millersville University.
out of the office
Pat is married and loves spending time with her children, grandchildren, and large extended family. She enjoys singing in the church choir and camping with family and friends.
What do you find most rewarding about the work that you do?
I love helping people and, in my position, I help our families navigate the often-confusing process of opening and transferring accounts, ongoing maintenance, and money movements. I also provide back-office operations and technology support to members of the team.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I was a gymnast in high school, but I can no longer do a split or back bend! I am a first soprano in my church choir and a cantor.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Packing. I can get many things to fit into a box or suitcase. It’s like a puzzle! My colleagues would also attest to my dishwasher filling capabilities.
How do you define balance in your life?
While at work, I am committed and focused. When I am off-the-clock, I focus on my husband and my family. Finding time with the grandkids is especially enjoyable.
